Richard Loren Cain
April 16, 1938 - April 7, 2025

Richard and Catherine on their wedding day, beginning their 64 years together
A Life Well Lived
This is a special place to celebrate the life of our beloved Grandpa, Father, and great-grandfather, Richard Loren Cain. He was the loving Husband of Catherine Cain for 64 years.
He is survived by 2 children, Brenda & Richard Hethcox (Daughter and Son-In-Law) & Richard & Renee Cain (Son and Daughter-In-Law). He was the loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren, and great grandfather of 10 great grandchildren and 1 angel.
Proud Naval Service
Richard proudly served in the United States Navy. He first joined the weekend reserves while still in high school around 1952, before serving four full years of active duty from 1954 to 1958. His dedication to his country was just one of the many ways he showed his commitment to service throughout his life.
Cherished Memories
Richard loved helping people and worked until the last day he could. His famous Shrimp and Broccoli Pasta will forever live on with us.
I love you Grandpa.

Memories & Tributes
I didn't know you personally, but I knew of you through all of what Brenda would share. We would text and I would ask " How's dad doing? " My heart goes out to your family and may you watch over them as parents are one of the best Guardian Angels to have, next to the Lord himself.
Happy Birthday Dad! You will forever be in my heart ❤️ chase still comes in every morning to wake me to come and get you up. We are all a little lost here right now but also know you are healed and happy. I hope you remembered to tell Jesus hi for me. Love you see you on the other side.
Thank you for your kindness Richard. You will be missed!! Love to you! Mike, Holly & the kids
I was lucky enough to meet Grandpa toward the end of his life. Today I am mourning the loss of this man who brought life and joy to so many of my loved ones
So incredibly sorry for you loss, and also so grateful to see so much LOVE and life Lived! (I lol'd at the mask and cape photo😅) Prayers, Love and Good Vibes - GratefulFriend
Today we remember the life of the most authentic and real grandpa there was. There wasn't a day he didn't think about providing for his family - Thanks for teaching me about good Olive Oil early on - Im going to make your pasta tonight for dinner and binge NCIS remembering how we used to sit on the couch when we lived with you all. I love you Grandpa and I miss you alot-
For as long as my memory goes back every year around the holidays, we would watch all the home alone, movies for hours and sit together and just laugh! I would say that was grandpa‘s favorite movie the home alone! Oh, and I can’t forget on the weekends we would sit and watch the Three Stooges for hours I still can hear his laughing in my head!! Love you, grandpa your memories will live on forever the strong hard-working dedicated person you were. Until we meet again❤️❤️ We love you, Lilly, Alina, and chris
